Retiring after many stressful years in education led to me take up two main hobbies, stained glass making and photography, both of which I find really relaxing and satisfying my need to keep learning.
I did a week’s photography course in Crete which spurred me on to join Bicester Camera Club. Last year I upgraded my camera from a point and shoot to a Nikon D3400, which I am still learning to use with the aid of the Dummies guide, You Tube and members of the very friendly camera club!
I enjoy trying different sorts of photography and recently purchased a macro lens as I love seeing all the detail of insects and plants. I’ll take photos of anything that appeals, love old buildings and don’t like to photoshop my pictures too much.
